Lil' Robin Redbreast...

Yeah, so in down town Myrtle Beach it's hard to find very much wildlife. I live on a small 5 acre farm so we do have a little bit to choose from. Today, the only thing I could come across was this precious Robin. I think he was a camera ham because he wasn't scared of me at all. He would hop from this tree to one beside it with little purple berries. Wish I could have gotten him with the berries, but he would "berry" himself in them, ha ha.
Anyway, may be boring for some. However, I think he's very handsome! Any comments welcome~

I like the first one very much. Your use of depth of field is great and I like the lighting.

Taken in JPEG, uploaded them to my big box where I only have PSE (laptop has the real deal). Didn't really do a whole lot at all. Corrected the color a tad, very tiny bit of sharpening. With the crop I just eyed it, but didn't take very much off it at all. I was able to get really close to him, not a shy birdmwink.gif . Used my 75-300IS lens (usually keep that one on at the barn because of the horses/action/etc). I liked where he was perched because of the lighting. Woods behind him (obviously) and open pasture in front...lots of light behind me. I wish I carried around a journal to mark what in the heck I was doing. Most of the time I'm an impulse shooter, so I just go with what I've got at that moment. Guess I got lucky this time??

Thanks ya'll for the nice comments. I like the way they turned out:D !
