Pricing problems

Hi,
So I just noticed this. A few weeks ago, I set all of my galleries to have certain prices. Just this morning, I went to specific galleries, and they had different prices.
Here's what I did:
setting prices for (portfolio)
set the prices
save
But, in newly created galleries, using another gallery as the pricing template, the old prices show up. Shouldn't the old prices have been completely nuked by the above procedure? How can they be showing up again?

Gallery pricing overrides portfolio pricing. So you can set the overall portfolio prices, then set different prices for certain galleries. I believe you need to set the gallery pricing back to default to switch over to portfolio pricing for galleries that previously had pricing set.

Of course if I misunderstood your sequence of events then my answer isn't right either...

How do I set the prices for all of my prints in one fell swoop? Because, as of right now, they've all been reset to cost, because I set one gallery to cost.
To say that I'm frustrated with this system is an understatement.
What I want to see from the pricing:
1) set all galleries at once, overriding all prices.
2) instant changes, and verification of changes (ie, this gallery/these images have been set to these prices, in two columns)
3) aspect ratio pricing (ie, if it's a 1x1 image, only show the 1x1 price).
On the face of it, I don't think any of these features are hard to do, but then again, I'm not programming the site

I'm very sorry you are frustrated, let me try to help.
Portfolio pricing is in place, if you have no gallery pricing set. Gallery pricing overrides portfolio pricing. Set portfolio pricing, to protect you from at-cost sales, in case you forget to set a gallery price.
When setting pricing, you must set to $0 any item you do not want to sell.
