Protected galleries

How can I set up my home page with a protected gallery ? I can't seem to find instructions anywhere. It's somewhere that is obvious probably but it's early in the morning.:scratch

Steve - I think this method covers up the www.username.smugmug.com page but if anyone direct linked to any photos those direct links still work. So the individual galleries still need to be password protected and the security and privacy check boxes checked for each gallery. I think. Maybe an expert can confirm.
