I have tried to password protect a gallery for family and friends but the page never asks for a password, it just goes right to the gallery?

Please help!

Give us the link and we'll check it out for you to see if we are challenged for the password. If you are logged in, it may not ask you for the password. If you have previously supplied the password, it remembers that for awhile and, in fact, will let you in to any gallery with the same password.

The easiest way to verify that your password is working is to use a second browser (like Firefox or Opera or use IE as your 2nd if you already use one of those others as your primary) that is never logged in and never uses the password. If you don't want to do that for some reason, then you can either go to another computer or clear all your Smugmug cookies in your main browser and then see how your main browser responds.
