Was out the other night and spotted this gal. Even at an effective focal length of 640mm this is essentially a 100% crop (70-200mm lens at 200mm x 2x extender x 1.6 crop factor), as I didn't want to scare her off, and the light was fading fast. I don't claim it is a great capture, but the subject is unusal enough that I wanted to share. I'm going to try and get back to the area where she was later this week and get some more shots.

    Hope to see her clearly later this week, but you are correct in that sometimes just documenting the sighting is worth more than a clear pic.
