Actually, I decided to change the name of this one:

    The Canon 24mm 1.4 performs very nicely in the night too.

    Can you explain this? I was pretty sure it didn't currently exist, so I checked. There is no 28mm f1.4 lens in Nikon's line up. I can only assume that 1.4D means something else. What lense are you talking about?
