Can't get to my control panel???

I login and click on the control panel button, but the page never changes.

Any ideas?

You aren't alone, I've been trying for several hours to get into my control panel and it won't let me in. The rest of the site seems to be working fine.

There's definitly something up... the control panel has been ungodly slow this afternoon but the rest of the site seems to be running at normal speed. I can get on, but it takes like 2-3 minutes for the page to load. This happened on both my work T1 and home 30Mbps cable connection. Not something I would usually complain about, but I just happened to see this thread...

I tried uploading some pics a few times and it keeps locking up my computer

Similar issues here. My front page has disappeared. Some photos seem to be missing (or are not showing), and the control panel link has become quirky.

Is anyone having difficulty with Control Panel today?

Andy I was having problems but it's a little better. Could not upload and when I tried accessing pictures it would kick me out of Internet Explorer.
Laptop is running Vista

I'm having trouble with my Control Panel too.

I did the Norton thing a couple of weeks ago.

My Control panel will usually not work or when it does load, the data is outdated. ???

Gallery stats are having a similar problem.

Control panel is sloooooooow.
Yes, it is taking a very long time for control panel to open. When it finally does open, more details shows no hits for any galleries. I was in another location today showing some photos to a customer, so I know some galleries have hits. Earlier today, the wait between photos was painful and I was asked how I could work like this. The photos galleries seem to be better now, but not control panel.
I am in Western New York, near Niagara Falls, using winxp sp2 and ie7. The other box I was on is winxp sp2 and firefox.

This is a result of you not having the latest Java update:


We have found that updating your current installation of java will typically resolve this issue.

Follow these steps to make sure your java is up to date for a PC:

1) Go to http://www.java.com

2) Click on "Do I have Java?" and wait for the test to run.

3) Follow the steps to get the latest version of Java if you need it.

If you have a Mac, it is even easier, just click on the Apple Menu and run the "Software Update" to get the latest version of Java.

That will do it for you. Let us know if you continue to have problems.

Control panel is opening quickly and the stats are working again.

O.K.....I followed the instructions on this post (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=67681) and that did the trick. My question is if clients are trying to access my pics with Norton will they have this problem? Telling clients to disable Add-ons on my site will not go over well, do you not agree?
