If you wouldn't mind, please go into your user control panel and fill out the "location" field. We don't need your address and apartment number, but city, state, province, region, or country would at least help us understand where you are.

Don't forget to include something, anything, . periods in DOB, Equipment, Dream Goodies, What Gets me going, What I do..

Thanks so much,
The Mod Team

We've discussed this before. You have to fill out all of the fields (or certain key ones) for your location to show up under your avatar. It is not sufficient to merely fill out the location field.

My location field is filled in yet "Los Angeles" does not appear under my avatar. Wxwax seems to be aware of this. Perhpas this needs to be addressed by the site manager/programmer?

Like wx said real easy fix. Just fill out the other fields that are below location. Even if all you do is type in a Z in each field it should work.

If you're talking about posts that start threads, only Mods can do that. A feature of the software, I believe.

The link is to google. Is there anyway to alter that to a map that works outside the States? headscratch.gif Not that I Really want you all to know where I live... There must be a paranoid conspiracy theory as to why not somewhere ne_nau.gif

    Learning Curve
I have had mine in, more than out, don't know what is there now.........

ginger (At one pt I wanted something else in, and I put it there instead. Had to choose.) And no one seemed to care where I live, besides, all one has to do is click on the personal info, or whatever.

Well, you can't read the type on the avatar.

Other people have things besides their location on that place, many other people.

    Any suggestions?

I will add my address, if I can have something else, too.

OK, I see, I will try that
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

I'm in (and it shows now that I've filled in the rest of my profile fields). Is there a planned "mash up" to have a map with all our locations on it?

    Location
Did my profile ask for my location? I saw no place that asked for my location. But, I am new here. Just trying to figure out the lay of the land. Anyway, I am currently based in Oklahoma, with a strong chance of moving to Las Vegas in the near future.

    yes--under "location"rolleyes1.gif , being a smartmouth.

    Ok go to your profile
    Under "Settings and Options"
    Then "Edit Profile"

Then at the bottom "Prefs & location"
this is where it asks you what kind of equipment you use, there is a spot there for location below that.
