Hey all,

Got a birthday present coming my way and I'm trying to decide which is the better of these 2 lenses, as they're around the same price. At first glance of the reviews, the only drawback to the extra range of the Sigma is that it's much heavier and has a huge filter thread, but I'm not too worried about that. Anyone have any experience with these 2 lenses that should push me one way or the other? Thanks!
Shoot, or shoot not. There is no try.

I can tell you that the IQ of the Nikkor is why I'd go with it. Primes will always give a better image.
