I am planning a trip to Harlingen Texas this November, To photograph birds.
As anyone photographed in this location? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks
John

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Oh heck yeah I have been there and you are in for a treat! In Harlingen proper you can visit the Arroyo Colorado Nature Area, but within an hours drive to the west and and in about 45 minutes to the east you have the Laguna Atascosa NWR, the Laguna Madre Nature Trail on South Padre Island, the Bentsen Rio Grande State Park, the Edinburgh Scenic Wetlands and the list goes on. It is one of the best places to bird in Texas.

More info can be found here. Have a blast! November is a great time because of the migrations of so many birds. It is a particularly good place for raptors at this time of year.
