categories drop down list

I would like to delete most of the default categories from the dropdown list and just keep a few plus my own.

I have tried but "delete category" only shows those that I have made..
Iam never qoing to need aquariums or funerals or loads of others

Hi Mark,

We'll consider this a feature request. Currently, we keep all the pre-loaded categories in the list no matter what. Those are the categories you can browse SmugMug by, also: http://www.smugmug.com/browse/Aquariums .

I'm sure that must be useful for some photographers.

Me being lazy, I find it a pain srolling through the list

Just another vote for this please, I guess it's useful for newbies, but power/pro users should be able to say switch off the default/unused categories? If I'm only using 2 or 3 cats, I don't want a big long list...
