Pro Pricing Question

Hi everyone. I have searched through quite a number of threads here and haven't found what I am looking for. Hopefully some kind member can point me in the direction of where this has been discussed (as I'm sure it must have been) before.

I am completely new to trying to sell any of my pics, and have no idea about standard prices. I have signed up for a pro account and am going to give it a go and see how it goes. Anyway, I'm wondering if there has been a thread where common/standard prices have been discussed. I know everyone will price differently, but any ideas at all will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There have been a number of discussions on pricing in the Mind Your Own Business section of the forum - http://www.dgrin.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29. You might want to do a search there for "pricing".

Another thing you can do, at least to satisfy some curiosity, is to look at prices on other galleries. Sometimes folks will have a pricing page, but more often you'll have to select a photo and indicate you want to buy it. That will allow you to see the prices, and you can delete the item from your cart if you don't really want to purchase. I've done some looking that way myself, and prices are all over the map.

Thanks a lot for that! I will check that link. I had looked at a few peoples pages as you suggested, but as you said, prices are all over the place, and I really am not sure where to settle. I don't know what is too much and what is too little. Anyway, cheers! I'll check that thread
