<does some math figuring out Frank's rate of fire... 12 per sec...x 5 minute bursts x 4599 times daily...x 14 days>

I think Frank wins. Probably fired off 500 gigs the first week. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/eek7.gif" border="0" alt="" > <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/rolleyes1.gif" border="0" alt="" > :ivar I remember standing between Fran and Andreas as they fired their machines. It was so funny I had to stop shooting and laugh. Stereophonic machineguns. What a riot.

Never, never, never stand between Frank and Andreas while they are shooting. :nono You could suffer long term hearing loss.
Harry... why did you shoot so many shots? I fit all my images from MI5 on 3 DVDs (backup copies of course). What's that come to with an 8.2 mp camera...about 1200-1400 shots. Guess I better try harder next time. :D

I shot from 2/2 -2/9 That's 7 days of shooting from sunset to sunrise so that comes out to around 428 shots per day much less than my normal average for a day's shooting which is around 800-1000 shots. I will usually shoot mutiple shots of a scene especially if I'm shooting handheld. I will make some variations on aperture, ISO, and EV adjustment. I rather take 15 shots of a scene,dump 14 and come away with one keeper than 3-4 shots and come away with one so-so shot.

Thanks for setting this up again....and Linda for putting up with all of us. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="" > <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="" >

It was a pleasure. I had a blast and how often does one get a chance to hang around such a great group of folks. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/bowdown.gif" border="0" alt="" >

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Harry,
I cannot thank you enough for you and Linda's hospitality, and putting on this event. I know how much work goes into a gathering like this and your work is greatly appreciated. You are very amiable. rolleyes1.gif

Thanks Brendan its good to have someone agree with me on this amiable thing. It was also nice having someone around whose sense of humor was even more warped than my own. wings.gif

I just went through your galleries and had an excellent time. Your shots are amazing I would kill to have your "eye".

This one really caught my attention.

Thanks Harry!
My eye is nothing really special, its just pure skill. :)
(note comment about warped sense of humor, I really have no idea what I am doing).

Thank goodness for good gear and the new modes on my D300 P for the Pretty shots, A for the amazing ones and M for magnificent. no matter how I set it up, I just can't go wrong.

In real news, I did have a great time, hope I am allowed to come back next year (pathfinder noted that I may not) wings.gif
