I like your shots. I especially like the shot of the path / road and the hikers - not because of any glorious photographic triumph but because of where it takes me in my mind....
.... and if you will indulge me just a bit:
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

I live in Eugene and always liked to spend time in Bend.
I was born in Bend, immigrated to Tahiti years ago and am now in Oregon providing care for my mother. I haven't been back to Bend in years and all my relatives who lived there are now long gone from this world. I still think of the high desert of Madras, Redmond, Bend and still can remember the wonderful summer days... Loved the shots. I am going to post a couple from my home just to show you the difference between my life way back then and now.
I just moved to Bend a few months ago from Seattle. It was one of the best choices I made in a long time!
Next time you vacation around here. Check out Mackenzie pass. It's closed in the winter, but amazing to visit in the summer!
