hi

i am looking to buy a canon eos 400d/XTi but my situation is like this:
i am in states temporarily now. And i want to buy that camera with european warranty (because originaly i am from eu) and i heard that those in states are only with us warranty.
so i want to know at first: is it possible to extend the warranty somehow(to worldwide)?
or should i just go to some european ebay and try my luck there...problem is that in most cases they wont ship to us (well who would like to buy a camera in eu when in states it is cheaper)
anyone had this problem? what should i do :/

US warranty don't work in EU for sure, that's main idea !
But you can buy XTi here from any authorized Canon retailer
and buy International Warranty for example from Mack.
They have a lot of different options, read carefully and choose one which best fit your needs.
