Ah, the versatility of the Bigma - nice series Dave thumb.gif

Just as a matter of interest, what f-stop were you using?

    Thanks

1/800 f6.3 honestly Al, I'm a shutter speed shooter. (poss. because I shoot alot of sports) I have a cheapo tripod so I'm usually shooting hand held or with my $19 cheapo monopod. I'll shoot as fast as I can & let the nikon pick the f stop & ISO...ne_nau.gif I guess I just vegetate when I shoot so I need a smarter camera:D

Red Spotted Purple Admiral I think. Google it to make sure.

Nice shots Dave. I have shot some nice butterflies with my long lens as well. We don't need no stinkin' macro lens. rolleyes1.gif
