What is this?

I was just trying to figure out what I had photographed here. I have taken tons of pictures of this kind of flower while hiking but I have no clue what it is. I searched for alpine flowers but couldn't find anything.

As a bonus, I have included the creepy photo with the spider (also un-identifed). :D

    Hi there quark they look like Yellow Tiger Lillies to me.
