How hot's my car?

Yesterday, I was reminded how hot the trunk (and interior) of a car get.
Mind you, it was in the 70's yesterday when I opened the trunk to find a tube of sunscreen had turned pretty much to a watery liquid (still in the tube).
As a gentle reminder, avoid leaving your gear in the trunk on a warm day. Or for that matter, the interior of the car. Leaving it in the interior is asking for it to be stolen but that's another thread
Exposure to extremes in temperature can cause a number of problems. Including liquifying lubricants or the introduction of condensate. Best to make sure your gear stays out of either.
