The fourth of California's 21 missions, Mission San Gabriel was founded in 1771 AD. In 1781, two fathers, several Indians and eleven families left the mission and traveled nine miles west to form El Pueblo de Nuestra la Reina del Los Angeles (The City of our Lady Queen of the Angels), the present City of Los Angeles.

De nada. The shot was taken with a LensBaby, a funny single element lens which acts like a tilt-shift.
