smugmug name / domain

Ive had a few people complain to me that my web address is too hard to remember.

To make my name shorter, I thought about not having the ".smugmug", portion, (sorry, I still love smugmug) so to do this do I have to get a domain name?
If so, is yahoo a good place to start?

Yes you will need to register a domain name ( over here in the UK somewhere like http://uk2.net )

I believe that you also need to have a Pro smugmug account to allow diversion.
