Is There A Limit on Keywords ?

I have noticed that not all my tags are showing up and counted. For example, if I choose the tag for "EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM" (link: http://kenyahudson.smugmug.com/keyword/ef+200mm+f28l+ii+usm#179221058), I do not get all of the images that I physically tagged. The missing tags do not show up with all the other tags. However, if I choose edit keywords, they are listed in there. Once I choose save, they still don't show up. This is a relatively recent problem that I have encountered in th last month.

Is there a limit on the number of keywords or characters? If so, what is the limit? If there is not a limit, is there another explanation for this phenomenon?

Thanks. I never noticed this before. I guess I've been using more keywords lately.
