Spent the past 2 days driving about the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC for a photography weekend. First 2 shots are from Grandfather Mountain:

A captive (once injured) Bald Eagle:

There's a deck off the nature museum at Grandfather that has 8 (I think) hummingbird feeders. I've never seen so many of the little speed demons at once in my life. At any given time there were probably 15 or more hummers flitting about. Caught this one having a rest (50% crop, taken with the 70-200)

I've also been meaning to visit a waterfall ever since I got my SLR over a year ago. Finally got around to it today. Stopped by Crabtree Falls on my way home today. If you ever decide to visit here, be prepared for a nice hike. The way in is ALL downhill, about a mile. Not that bad at all... but on the way back, of course it is ALL uphill. I had to stop to rest a few times... another reason to give up smoking!

Anyways, here's the one shot that I've messed around with in PS. Too tired to go through them all tonight. Hopefully I have some better examples - I thought this one didn't turn out too badly. Just need to get my sensor cleaned soon I believe.
