I was just sitting around this evening and thought that I would share a few more pics with you. Let me know what you think.

#1 Not sure what this. I think that it is a bee eater of some sort.

#4 Not sure what is causing the purple tint here but it doesn't show up in my gallery or on my pics in my folder

Nice set The antelope (methinks waterbuck) and the flying vulture are tops!

The first one is a barbet - I think a Red and Yellow Barbet.

Yea that is a waterbuck. Thanks for the comments. And thanks for the lead on the bird. I'm still trying to locate a book on the birds of East Africa so I can put some names on the birds that I took pictures of. When people ask me what kind of bird that is, I'm tired of saying that it is a black and white one.

The book that I have (yes it is a Red and Yellow Barbet) is "A field guide to the birds of East Africa" by Williams and Arlott, published by Collins in the UK. Mine is pretty old, but there are 2nd hand copies available on Amazon.

That is one of the two that I have been looking for. One of the drivers was using it while I was there. Thanks
