Hi, I spotted this dramatic sky and jumped out the car and took an exposure, I've tried to create a treatment that enhances the drama including adding some grain, what do you think?

Thanks for looking,

    Don't see any sky.headscratch.gif

Edited 8/24: Not sure what you did, but now I can see it fine a couple days later. I like the grain effect, certainly adds to the drama.

Hmm. It showed up for me, but only after I copied the link and viewed it in a new window. Did you setup the permissions on the gallery to allow pictures to be linked? That may be it.

Beautiful pictures by the way! thumb.gif

Thanks James, I'm not sure what's going on, I just got into work, went to check the thread and the picture didn't come up again? I definitely have 'allow external links' set to yes and I've not had this problem before.

Anyway thanks for your comments, I'm glad you liked it and were able to view it mwink.gif

Thanks Shane, we've certainly been treated to some pretty interesting skies this summer in the UK, it's been very wet.

Great capture! Although the blowout/highlight front and centre makes me think that something apocalyptic is about to happen rolleyes1.gif

Thanks VI, that's a good thing, I like the sense of threat.

Thanks Awais and Hamster, I'm pleased with this treatment, I've saved it as a Lightroom user preset and intend to inflict it on some other shots.

Whoops I didn't think of that, just to clarify, I added some noise to the image, the wheat in the foreground was definitely there :D
