Grandchildren (for my mom)

Well, when my mom and dad were having dinner with us to say goodbye to my son (he is on route to Germany), mom mentioned that my neice was arriving from Ft. Mac for a week. One day overlap between the neice and my son. So I arranged a very quick family photo shoot, trying to get it done quickly without any planning, but trying to get a step above snapshots...:rolleyes

Kids ages range from 10 - 17, so it is easier to do, but I do not know if I'm ready for prime time. I do intend to do some further editing on some - b&w, some high key, etc.

All 5 of them, plus the dog!

My neice, least cooperative:

Neice and nephew (did not notice the roofline when I shot it...dang)

nephew ( I like this one):

Son #1 - I did not notice the sunspot on his cheek:

Son #2:

Feedback appreciated.

The Dog looks quite comfy in there with all the kids :D

Ann I totally suck at people pictures.
I like the one with all the kids together with the dog.
Lots of people hate getting their photo taken,
I'd much prefer to be the one taking the photos.

Knowing how unco-operative people can be you did pretty darn good!

FT MAC.......Now that brings back some memories. I did a stint at Suncor years back with my former employer. They have an office....or had one in Edmonton. That is a loooooonnng drive frome Edmonton to Ft Mac, but is very scenic....beautiful. I clearly remember arriving at Ft Mac at 11pm, and it was still daylight.

Very nice photos. There are probably very few folks here who would say that groups this large are easy. Some make it look easy, but it is always a struggle for me.

    Good Job!!

Yes, well, he thinks he is one of them! We are quite indulgent with him. But rest assured he is gentle as can be and he does listen.

    Thanks

Yep - in June, it stays light here til 11 or so, then the sun comes up about 3:30 a.m.!!! That road to Ft. Mac is super busy now.

Thanks, Jeff, ya know the more I look at them, the more I like them.

Thank you, Nori. My oldest has been to Sao Paolo. One day, I hope to visit there as well.

Thanks, Marina. The kids were fairly willing - I told them they were for grandma, and also that they could have desert after the photos were taken.
