Is that your conclusion or someone else's?

I'm not sure that I agree because they are both very nice cameras. Lots of wonderful images from both cameras litter the Internet.

That would not be my conclusion.

So maybe someone else will explain to me
why used D200s are so expensive at second hand market ?

Expensive merchandise must be good, better than others.

I really want to try and check D200 since long time,
but I must add a lot of money to 20D/30D to buy used D200 !

And I'm not sure - is really D200 so great ???

    Short: Yes.
The only thing that's superior about the 30D is its high ISO performance. But even considering the fact that 90% of my pictures are taken at ISO 1600 or ISO 3200, I'd go for the D200. It's just much more of a photographer's camera, as opposed to a great sensor in a mediocre body, which is the case with pretty much any non-1 Canon camera. But then again, wait for a day or two, Nikon might be announcing something interesting mwink.gif

I don't necessarily agree either. More expensive is just that: more expensive. It doesn't automatically follow that the more expensive item is better.

Neither is better than the other. If you read the reviews and specs of each camera they have their respective strengths and weaknesses.

You have to look at their attributes and decide which is the best tool for the uses you have in mind for it. Also go down to the store and handle each camera, You are more likely to enjoy shooting with a camera that "fits" in your hands better.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Ditto what Harry said.
I was all set to get a D200 until I handled one that my co-worker had bought. I also handled a friend's 20D and the 20D fit me much better, so I bought a 30D and some "nice" lenses:D

    Can't go wrong with either.
