Off center print on Canon i960

I'm having a bit of a problem getting my prints to print evenly.:scratch
I use a canon i960. Also the problem is that same in CS2 CS3 either printing from my Mac or PC. On page layout and print preview the print is centered, but once printed there is a 2cm discrepancy on what actually comes out on paper. One side wil be borderless the other will have a huge margin.
I've not been able to come up with a solution. Perhaps I'm overlooking a simple step. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
