So I get the Cooperhil cleaning kit... I am all excited... works like a charm... might even be my imagination but my pictures seems "cleaner"!!!... BUT... (canon 28-134mm/30D) between the lenses I SEE a piece of red lint!!! It is on the side, I had my f set at 5.0 anyhow all this time because of the dirty sensor... and of course THAT piece of lint does not show up in the pictures... I think I know the answer... send it in?... or... hummm... there is a way to take those lenses apart?... :scratch

Thanks! I will have to finally buy another lense to send this one in... wide angle zoom maybe?... I do mostly landscape...

If it's in the lens and you just have to get it out, send it in.

Hey Ara!

Sorry to hear about the thread. But is it showing up in the pix? If not, I wouldn't worry about it. Otherwise, you will have to pick up a new lens if you want to continue shooting whilst the other is repaired. In any case, I wouldn't recommend taking the lens apart as you may get more dust inside.

A 70-300 might be a good choice as it extends your range quite a bit. But it's not going to be as wide as what you have now.

No... it is not showing... a big piece also!... but as i mentionned on the side...
I think I would like a wide angle instead... then I will send it in...
Is there by the way a better service center for cannon than another?
And... on another note... I will be in Big Bend for about 3 months!!! Will also take a photography class over the Internet... exciting!
