Hi there race fans,

Virginia International Raceway was recently host to the AMA's Suzuki Big Kahuna Nationals which provided some very exciting racing and another podium appearance by the Jordan Suzuki team. 93% humidity however, is much like drying off after a long, hot shower and slipping on a pair of wet pants!

Here's another pack of pix for your visual entertainment...

1) Josh Hayes grabs the hole-shot:

2) Steve Rapp rounds his way into turn 2.

3) Aaron Yates got his groove back.

4) The Lodge at VIR offers some fantastic track views.

5) VIR? Take the first right after the bridge.

6) #1 Ben Spies has yet to finish lower than 2nd place all season.

7) Josh Herrin focuses during a Saturday practice session.

8) #20 Arron Yates pulls away from #2 Jamie Hacking.

9) The lunch-time stunt show...always a crowd pleaser!

10) Ben Spies shares an afternoon cocktail with one of his fans!

Hope you enjoyed them!

Is there any way to get a glimpse at the EXIF on some of these photos? Your apprentices around here will never catch up without some help bowdown.gif

    Djthemac and I_worship_the_king,

At the risk of sounding like a pompous ass; I can't really give away all of my tricks. The settings are probably no different than dozens of other photogs but because the competition in this small industry is so tight and everyone pretty much uses the same equipment, any little edge I can keep is important.
However, If there are 1 or 2 images that you specifically have an interest in...then shoot me a PM and I'll gladly fill you in on the details!

Thanks very much for the compliments though and taking the time to respond. nod.gif

Those Stuntas are crazy guys :D

I think my favorite is #8. Mr. Yates pulling away.

The light looks pretty strange. Was it overcast'ish?
