Hi,
I am thinking of selling my new 85f1.2Lmk2 lens as I just do not use it, I took a couple of pics of the kids and of one friend, and that's been it!
It was an impulse buy; I have the other two of the 'trio', the 135f2L and the 35f1.4L (see pics in link below) and kept reading how great this lens was and other users enthusiasm for it rubbed off too much and without thinkig whether I really had much use for this lens - I bought it! I am keeping te other two because I do use them for street shooting but the 85f1.2L isn't really suited to that, actually it would take amazing street pics but it's a bit too ostentatious somehow! I though it would have a beter home with a wedding or portrait photographer
I have only had it four months and it is AS NEW, i.e. completely pristine, (and complete with everything it came with) but I feel guilty keeping such an expensive lens that I bought out of curiosity really, just to see if it was a good as they say, and it is, but which I don't have a real use for.
OK OK, I was daft to buy it when I didn't really need it but actually even though it will have cost me I am glad I did because now I know exactly what an amazing lens it isand have enjoyed just the pleasure of holding it and using it , even if only briefly.:D
It has a B&W UV filter to go with it. (Worth £46, also new & included free)
I'm looking for £950 +P+P
Hoping to sell in UK for convenience (I'm in Norfolk) but open to any reasonable arrangement from anywhere
Ideally meet up for the exchange, where you are welcome to inspect to your hearts content
Funds must clear before lens is shipped
If I don't get that or very near that I might just keep it anyway and force myself to take lots of portriats (maybe it'll be good for me)
However as it stands I really only do landscape and street photography so it's sensible to try to sell it.
To help verify my credentials - I will gladly give my home address to serious offers.
