First Maternity Shoot

It was also my first real project with my new flash unit and Gary Fong Whale Tail. All in all I was pretty happy with the results. The mother-to-be was thrilled with the end product. I booked 4 jobs TODAY off this one shoot.

I have been working on creating a special moment when delivering my work to the client. I started this morning by linking her to her proof gallery via email. I also sent her a separate link to a slideshow I created with about 90 images from the shoot. About 9:30am I went to the credit union where she worked and hand delivered a DVD of the slideshow she had just seen this morning along with some other collateral materials.

When I walked in she was grinning EAR to EAR, and was surrounded by a small gaggle of women that were checking out the gallery. I had the chance to meet several potential clients and booked an engagement session on the spot. By 11:30 I booked 3 more appointments.:clap
