Size and Quality help....

    John,

    the rules say "...If you cannot link your photo, attachments are limited to 150Kb in size...".

    So, you aren't limited to a maximum of 150 kB for entries, only for entries that are submitted as attachments (which is not a good approach).

    So if you can link to your photo hosted elsewhere, then greater than 150 kB is OK, but you should also take the viewer into account and not enter something that is too large in file size.

    So if you really can't produce something that you are happy with in a small file size, then save the file to a size that gives you the quality you want, upload to your host site and then embed the photo in the entry thread.

    No problem and no breaking of the rules by doing so.

    Ahhh!!! All this time I interpreted that as having to be a 150kb file. All the pictures I've submitted have been 150kb or less, and quality has suffered. lolrolleyes1.gif

    I like best the way the water distorts the reflections at upper right.

    I would suggest you might crop some of the bottom.
