Las Vegas in IR

I have no self-control. Do I need an IR camera? Did I buy one? You bet! It came in about a hour before my trip to Vegas (family) and I brought it along with me without knowing too much.

Conclusion: Awesome, but it's a lot harder than it looks...

Lessons from the trip:
-Set the white-balance using something green. Otherwise, everything is going to be an angry red
-It's a good idea to use bracketing.
-Everything looks different in IR and without experience, difficult to image how the final shot will look
-It's stupid to visit Vegas when it's 110+ degree F
-It's very difficult to walk the strip with 19 people

Very interesting series. I especially like #2 and 3. They look like winter in the middle of a scorching summer. Thanks.

These are very cool. I love the wing of the plane the best. I've got to agree with you about the 110+ degree thing too.mwink.gif
