I'm playing with B&W conversion, i would like your opinion on these 2.
1st shot, with applied soft filter.
2nd shot, nothing, just converstion with some curves.
Or may be neither? :scratch

Now...what is this "soft filter" of which you speak? Camera filter or PP filter?
Llywellyn, it's actually not a fillter, it's a soft effect in PS. I guess i can sharpen eyes more in the 1st shot.

I like the way the filter softens down the skin variation but would love to see the eye sharpness retained. Nice shot!
