B&w

I'm playing with B&W conversion, i would like your opinion on these 2.


1st shot, with applied soft filter.

    Oh, #1...but with the detailed eyes of #2. :D Nice conversions.

    Now...what is this "soft filter" of which you speak? Camera filter or PP filter? headscratch.gif

    Llywellyn, it's actually not a fillter, it's a soft effect in PS. I guess i can sharpen eyes more in the 1st shot.

    I love it...however I think the lone finger is distracting.

    I like the way the filter softens down the skin variation but would love to see the eye sharpness retained. Nice shot!

    Layer #1 over #2 and brush a hole in the layer mask for the eyes.
