Went to the PCAM air show last weekend and thought I would share some shots. I was trying out a new lens all these shots were hand held between 200mm and 500mm.

    Hi there, what was the new lens you were trying out??
    You got some seriously nice shine and sharpness on shots #5 & #7 clap.gif
    Love the Red Paint job on the first 2 images.

    I was using the Tamron SP AF200-500MM F/5-6.3 Di LD. I was torn between this lens and the Sigma Bigma but no shop near me had the Bigma in stock. So far I'm happy with the tamrom, it's much lighter than Sigma and seems to be just as sharp. I didn't expect the 500mm shots to be that sharp hand held.:D

    I use that lens at air shows also, and find it very acceptable when shot at f8 or smaller. It works with extension tubes for butterfiles also:D
