Lightroom Drive Access

I'm running Adobe Lightroom 1.1 on a PC. 2.4g Processor with 2g of ram and it runs pretty slow. I can deal with the performance, however, when exporting or doing anything with file acces it's aweful. I worked up a wedding and had 540 images to export to jpg. It took over 2 hours to export those photos to a folder.

Anyone else having any like this? The rest of my PC runs fine, just not my Lightroom.

    When you say export to jpg ,i'm assumming your're batch converting from raw files..
    Yes this is completly normal even jpg to jpg will take some time to batch process.

    I used Lightroom for a while and then went with Nikon Capture Nx a while back and doing the same thing around 500 files in raw converted to jpg it took seven hours with the tweaking.
