Tag. I'm interested also. I've taken a look at the Hartblei site a couple of times on that lens for use on my 645Pro.

The luminous landscape has a review of the Rotator on the Contax 675
with a 16MP Kodak digital Back. Maybe thats something for a start?

Did you even bother to read the article? It says how it compares
against Zeiss lenses ... what more do you want? I mean if you're
that critical you probably know how other lenses perform.

Try the Luminous Landsacpe Discussion Forum they might be able
to provide you actual images. Just a thought of course.

Of course I have read the article and not only that it compares with Zeiss, Zeiss decided to redesign them and bring the new line under their name. Unfortunately, the line of TS lenses will not include MF but only for 35mm format. Oh, the ones made by Zeiss extremely expensive!!!. Therefore, I was looking for real examples so that I can make my decision faster, that's all.

There are three images in that article... deal.gif Note the caption: Contax 645 with Kodak DCS Pro back @ ISO 100. Though even the larger linked images are fairly small web-sized versions it appears the lens is quite capable. Since there is no byline, I assume it was Mr. Reichmann writing the review & it seems he's fairly picky with gear (and used to using top-of-the-line stuff normal people cannot dream of affording), so if he likes it, it must be a pretty good lens. At $950 it had better be.

One thing I find attractive is I can get it in Mamiya 645 mount, and with an adapter use it on the EOS as well.

Doing some searching around, here's a couple of interesting links:
