The Mustang Drive-In
Welcome to the Mustang Drive-In, located just outside of Picton, Ontario, Canada. It is owned and operated by an easy going and gentle, 60's throw-back kinda guy that goes by the name of "Paul". He has created for himself, somewhat of a thriving entertainment anomaly here in an industry that is definitely dead and dying throughout most of North America, as the car culture wanes.
During the slowest parts of the corniest movies and directly into the sound system, don't be surprised to hear Paul interject his own mindless banter and cynical witticism over top of the benign movie dialogue. That tall step-ladder, directly in front of the projection window was put there for a very good reason. It's there so you can climb up and make your own shadow-hand puppets onto the massive screen, before, during or after the movie, it makes no matter. Those are just some of the antics that go on at the Mustang on any given evening.
Whenever we vacation in the Prince Edward County area, the Mustang Drive-In is always on our must-do list before we have to head back home to the big-smoke of Toronto. Lucky me, I struck-up a casual conversation with Paul and basically invited myself in for an intimate pictorial peek into his business. Surprisingly enough and all in stride he said; "Sure, come on in". What I cool guy I thought, I'm not missing this for nothing!
Come in now and have a look see. I am only going to narrate the first image; "The Ticket Booth". The rest of the narration I will be leaving entirely for YOU. I am sure you will do a much better job than I, while you peruse down your own memory lane. Enjoy.

NEW Smugmug Site
Thank you. It was fun!
(Only wish I had thought to use my prime 50:1.7!)
PS: I noticed from your gallery that you are a "Beamer" biker. Have a look at his tiny and very poorly photo'd gallery that may be of some interest to you. I took these pics the following evening after the Mustang Drive-In.
