first post: beach pics
Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum and this is the first chance I've had to actually post some pics but I've been poking around here a bit for the last week or so and have been astounded by the amazing quality of work - it's certainly inspired me to get snapping much more. I live in Perth, Western Australia and am blessed enough to have a beautiful beach at the bottom of my street where most of my amazing sunsets come from...so please let me know what you think of my shots, I'm using a Sony camera DSCP-1 I think..usually set on 3.0 Megapixels, although it's a 5.0 Megapixel camera....
ENJOY!

Wow thanks for the positive feedback on my first post!! I'm stoked with that. It is a huge blessing to have that at the end of the street, and even more of a blessing to be able to capture a few strangers gazing at the sunset like that It's not my original quote but an Anonymous one I picked up along the way throughout my travels on the web. I do write poems and things though and I'm hopefully going to publish a book this year with them in some time soon....
Thanks for the tip on the horizon - I think I do that a lot...I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 for post production - but I'm not a gun at it at all! I also use Arcsoft 2000 which is just some software which came bundled with my scanner years ago...
Thanks again for the encouragement - keep snapping!
