Irelands highest waterfall but still not a patch on Yosemetie:):

I would appreciate feedback / critisism on this. I used layers to adjust levels, add contrast and up saturation. I flattened the image and used the usm mask for sharpening.

Wonderful shot... I don't think we had enough snow this year for any great water shots... We'll see in a month.

    peace.

Thanks Johno, even if the water levels were low there will be tons of other stuff to shoot.

Thanks Fred, I didn't think about the people giving a perspertive until I saw it on the monitor. Composition is something I have to work on ( along with exposure, focusing,... etcrolleyes1.gif ).

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Actually I'm thrilled that the photo turned out so well. I bought the 20d with no idea how to use it. The fact that I took a half decent photo is down to the people on this forum. There is a wealth of expertise here that is readily shared in a friendly manner. Critisism is always constructive and suggestions and encouragement to improve follow.

I spent a lot of time reading the posts here and studying the techniques used by yourselves.

    Thank you.thumb.gif
