create own counter

Hello! Sorry I'm new here!
I've got a problem! I've found some cute images for a counter but I don't know the script or the html code to create one (in livejournal not in a website) so you know how create a counter? I really need help!! Thank you!

    Are you talking about a page hit counter, which shows the number of visitors? If so, you might want to look at Statcounter. It's easy to use. Why roll your own?
