'Pre-Eclipse'
Canon 30D, 400/5.6, 1.4XTC, tripod, shutter release cable, mirror lock up, timer.
This was from the first half of the eclipse. I planned on getting the second half, but I couldn't fell asleep. Oh, well
Thanx for looking, Kevin.

Hope you had a nice nap afterwards for all your work
I've never successfully photographed the moon before, and you guys are making it look so very easy.

very good shots. Did you use manual focus or AF? My eyesight is quite bad (+3D) and I found it very challenging to focus on dim moon.
And yes timing was a challenge too - a 30sec exposure at f11 was great colour wise - except the moon moved so far in that time it made it useless.
