"The beginning" is quite powerful to me, and I'm agnostic!

I like The Beginning albeit I do find a touch dark. In particular there is a shadow on the left hand which leaves it with disembodied fingers. I think a little light to fill the shadows would help. Another thing to think about is the background behind the original is light gray rather than black. That said, I know what you are after, so the black background isn't obscuring your message.

I concur with the Liquid's assesment, it is definately to dark... great idea (wish I had thought of it) any way it beats the train hands down!

First off I'm in the minority and would stick with the trains but then again, I'm sucker for powerful b&w train images. So if you do the smart thing and go with the popular vote, I would suggest a light, cracked marble background. It would hold more with the original Creation and can be easily created in Photoshop. Of course if shatch's opinion is worth only $.02, then I should probably be paying to give mine. Got PayPal? rolleyes1.gifroflrolleyes1.gif

landslide so far. I ran my monitors' gammas from 1.4 to 3.1 using quickgamma and as long as gamma was above 1.6 or so, the image survives on a philips 202p7 22" CRT, brightness 39, contrast 100, 6500K.

I switched in the entry thread. May switch back before closing. ne_nau.gif
