Hi everyone!

I finally get to use my new canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS and got to post the pics, but my files are too large! How do I downsize them so I can post them on here?:dunno
Canon 30D & REB XT (thinking of converting to infrared), Sigma 10-20mm, Tammy 17-50mm 2.8, Canon 24-70mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8 IS, Tokina 100mm 2.8 Macro, Canon 50mm 1.8, Canon 1.4 ext, and Sigma 4.5 fish eye along with a Bogen by Gitzo Tripod, Manfrotto Ball Head, MacBook PRO, several HOYA filters and a 2GB & 8GB San Disk, 160GB Sanho storage device (really cool btw)......wishing for a Canon 100-400mm. :wink

If you dont have any programmes like photoshop a quick & nasty way to reduce size on a PC with internet explorer is to open the photo...right click & send it to a mail recipient..ie yourself. It will ask if you want to keep it original size or reduce thus you choose reduce. When you open your email to see the pice...just save it from there.

    Like i said...fast & nasty but works.

And the other option that Gus neglected to point out (since we fully expect you'll fall in love with this site and will be posting hundreds of pics in no time at all :D ) is get yourself a smugmug account and it will take care of all the sizing for you ...

Fast and nasty, yes, but it does work. bowdown.gif

The image quality goes down when it's done like this right?

I like the Image Resizer Power Toy from Microsoft:

    http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

    Very handy and fast.

For help with posting pictures, see the link in my signature.

Attaching is brutal on images. Linking is much better. :D
