This is my son and my grandson. It was very late afternoon and the son was going down. The little guy will be 2 years old in a couple of weeks and this is the first time I've seen him since January.

Thanks for stopping by and for the nice comment. I live in California and my grandchildren live in Connecticut. So, I only get rare photo ops. Forgive me for being a proud grandma.:D

Ahhhh how adorable. He looks a little unsure...but looks like dad is guiding him well. So cute.

He must be wondering why the water's on the wrong side. :D

That's a cute shot and I'm sure you are very happy to see them both!

    Wrong side?

I had to crop out a group of kids on the left. Yeah, it would have been good if the shadows went into the center of the shot. Oh well. :D

Neat shot! What beautiful water, and with those boats...wow! Did you take any others in this location?

Yes, I took several. Here's the first one I took of them by the water. Then I moved over to leave out all the people. I still had to clone out a couple of them. The butt shot was very distracting.

I like this composition better, but I wish I could clone out all those people. It changes the whole mood of the shot. I didn't work on the colors as much because I didn't like the shot as well, but maybe I could work on the blue a bit to make it better.

Here's another one that I like. That first tentative poke to look for sand crabs.
