I live on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay. A rare coocurance happens during the summer months and it's called a jubilee. Bottom dwelling fish get caught up in pockets of low oxyegenated water and they "beach" themselves in the surf, trying to get oxygen. It is one of only two places in the world this happens naturally. If the fish are not scooped up by people or seabirds, they will make there way back into deeper water when the tide and winds change. One happend last night that started around 8 pm and went on until 3 am.

That is very cool. I didn't know of such a thing. Nice job with these. Did you use a polarized filter? The shots look very clear.
And BTW the last shot is very nice. thumb.gif

I didn't use a polorizer. Just took a bunch of pics and used the best ones.

    Thanks!

The last shot is a favorite of mine too. Thanks.

I held it on the top of a pier railing and left the VR on as the pier was shaking due to people walking on it. I think the exposure was about 5-10 seconds. Lucked up and captured a lighting stike within the clouds.

Also, the lights behind the trees are due to passing cars as the area was experiencing heavy traffic because of the jubilee.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
