close-up kitten - feedback?

hiya - anyone have any feedback on this one? I have a few versions, on this one I played with the curves in Photoshop to make the dark a bit darker and bring out the orangy-colors and the darker amber in her eyes. I'm not sure whether to leave the small white dots from the flash in her eyes? thoughts?

I love the eyes in this shot.

Try removing the flash dots and compare. Personally they don't draw away from the shot for me though, and I'm staring at the eyes.
