Swainson's Fledgling

There is a hawk nest in the field by my office - you may recall a previous post I made ...

There are at least two fledglings off the nest now - we know this because we have seen four in the air at once. I had the camera with me today as I had a shoot after work. I went out bakc to see what I could find, and there was a fledgling on the fence not more than 15 feet away. I was really cautious because last week a coworker lost a bit of skin off his head when he unknowingly walked out the back door just after a soccer ball got too close to one of the young ones! Anyway, tonight another coworker very gently rode his bike near the young one to get it to fly past me! Here are the results.

I am pretty sure that I got this ones sibling and an adult today, but from quite a distance and I haven't edited them yet.
