It's so nice to have folks like you from different parts of the world all come together here to share their shots and experiences that many of us would never know anything about otherwise.

I wanted to ask you if you have any trouble with the bottom ring on your bigma? I think mine is loose & at times the pins are not hooking up with the camera

I'm not sure what you mean by the "bottom ring". The focussing ring or the ring which attaches to the camera?? The only problem I've been finding recently is that the zoom ring is a bit stiff in places.
Nice shots. I like the how, in the first one, there are those concentric ripples of water spreading out from the subject. The White Faced Duck is very nice. You probably already did as much as you could but you could probably tone down that light with a bit of PS work, especially in the curves settings.

Thanks Stephen!
Trying to bring down the hot spots with curves would probably kill the dark areas. I think the only way to tone down the highlights is to try my hand at DavidTo's blending tut.

I particularly like the white-faced duck.
