G9 Ships early!!!!

Don't know if this is a mistake, but camera shops are reporting that it shipped today!

I pre-ordered the G9 on Amazon. I just checked my order and it says the camera is estimated to ship 15-Oct. I don't see a shipping date on the Amazon page to which you linked.

I also did a couple quick Google searches and didn't come up with anything.

You've piqued my curiosity. Do you have any other sources to cite?

Thanks for the link. Very interesting. Sounds like a fluke, and likely will turn out to be a mistake on the camera store's part. If my order's shipping date changes in the next few days, I'll post here.

That camera looks good. I'd be interested in seeing some real
world shots out of it too.

I cannot wait to get my G9! I pre-ordered mine from Amazon last week. It looks like mine will ship out in the middle of Oct. I think around the 17th or 18th of October.
